GENERAL TIMELINES Editing may take between 1-2 weeks, depending on the length of the novel and scheduling availability Beta readings may take up to a week, depending on the length of the novel and scheduling availability PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY All work submitted is treated as confidential, and not used for purposes of solicitation outside the work agreed upon. Questions about this? Feel free to email me. What Rachel Edits does not do: cover art or illustrating (unless you like stick men), formatting for publishing (because there are multiple formats out there), indexing (some great editors do specialize in that), developmental editing, desktop publishing, or providing original writing for anything academic (ethical grounds...you understand). As for anything else, it doesn't hurt to ask, and if you want to bend my ear, try bending my taste buds (chocolate hardly ever refused). |
